The only thing I love more than Halloween is playing a Halloween gig! I'm stoked to be playing the annual Sterngrove Halloween festival, better known as, ScareGrove. My badass band is full of musicians who've played with the likes of Santana, Arethra, James Brown, Joss Stone, Pete Escovedo..... like I said, straight badass. Rob Watson will be on bass, Billy Johnson on Drums, Vernon "ice" Black on guitar, and Tony Watts on Harmonica. Band plays from 5-6pm Details: Scaregrove returns to Stern Grove (19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard), on Friday, October 26 from 3 to 9 p.m. This year’s event will feature a costume contest and parade, haunted houses, hay rides, carnival rides, giant inflatables, food for sale and live entertainment. $10 per person; children under 2 years old are free! I'll be playing with my pals from the Bread and Butter Band this fine evening in the infamous and (some say haunted) halls of the Record Plant Studios. Now known as Harmonia, a wellness center for yogis and spiritualists alike, the former recording studio once served as the premier production site for the greatest artists of all time. Stevie Wonder, Journey, Whitney Houston, Fleetwood Mack, just to name drop a few. Be a part of history and celebrate the magic of music with us. Tickets are $25 at the door.
